Mark Vincent Kaplan: Lawyer to Layabout Lovers
When we wrote about the Britney Spears-Kevin Federline divorce yesterday, we solicited interesting tidbits about Spears's high-flying divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser.
We haven't heard much about Wasser. But we did get this funny factoid about Federline's counsel, Mark Kaplan:
This is a great tip, if you have a good history of celebrity divorce: Federline's lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, was CHRIS JUDD'S lawyer!!! I assume I don't need to explain to you why this is funny.
For those of you who do require explanation: Cris Judd is a dancer and actor, best known not for his professional accomplishments (whatever they might be), but for his failed marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Judd, a former backup dancer to J.Lo, was her second husband -- or possibly her third, if you believe those rumors of a brief marriage to David Cruz.
Family law practitioners in Hollywood tend to develop specialty niches. Some represent wealthy husbands, seeking to divorce their first wives with minimal financial pain. Some represent the jilted spouses, seeking to take their husbands for all they're worth. Some defend paternity suits brought against promiscuous celebrities.
And some Tinseltown divorce lawyers, like Mark Kaplan, represent future Trivial Pursuit answers.

Britney Spears is a well known high profile professional in this business, she is a strong willed woman who will at her own assets to get what she wants and deserves - those kids are her life and if kevin thinks to take those kids away, he is dead wrong?
There is no way kevin federline will ever get the spears -federline kids, he is only after for himself and for the money, that's all he cares about so he can look good in the end - that is my final abrupt answer to you or whomever -

I hope Kevin Federline does get those kids. If he doesn't then who knows what will happen to them if they stay with their psychopathic mother. Britney Spears can't even take care of herself so what makes people think she can take care of two babies. Come on, you have seen the things that she has been putting them through latley. She is going to end up hurting on of them and then everyone is going to be like, "told you so". Give the kids to Kevin....please
