Bong Hits 4 ATL: A Photo Essay (Part 2)
On the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court, after his oral argument in Morse v. Frederick, Dean Kenneth W. Starr has an epiphany. He realizes why he decided to take on this case, pro bono.
It's because his client, petitioner Deborah Morse -- a curvaceous, dark-haired beauty -- reminded him of a young woman he once loved, many years ago...
This morning we posted the first half of our photographs from our recent trip to the Supreme Court. The rest of the pictures appear after the jump.
This is pretty clever. But don't expect to change Scalia's mind.
Oh, the irony -- getting ticketed for exercising your free speech rights over a case about free speech.
"Are you trying to seduce me, Katherine Harris?"
Apparently he didn't go to U. Chicago for law school.
Student protestors bring the mainstream media to their knees.
"I thought we were to discuss a referral which we believe contains substantial and credible information of potential impeachable offenses by the President of the United States...."

Comments
Dear Mr. Lat,
Please stop making comments about the attractiveness of women (e.g., referring to Deborah Morse as a "beauty"). You clearly know nothing about such matters.
Also, if you could stop (over)using the word "delicious," it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Could agree more with 4:32. Sometimes Lat makes me want to throw up.

Then you probably shouldn't be reading ATL, because your pleas will fall on deaf ears.
Lat has had the same writing style for years, since UTR. Don't expect him to change anytime soon.
That's assuming he could change if he wanted to. Writing styles are like personalities (or sexual orientations). They can't be changed at will, like a pair of pants.
The solution is for you not to read a site that "makes you want to throw up." There are probably better uses of your time.

4:56: Thanks Lat.
(But yeah, it probably is a waste of time asking Lat to be less campy in his writing.)

If you don't like Lat's blog, then stfu and leave!

Have you seen Deborah Morse? I made it in to the argument, and she's actually pretty good-looking. This is not a god pic of her.

There's an enormous difference between "actually pretty good-looking" and "beauty." I enjoy the campy writing style (which is why I don't stfu and leave), but the "everyone's a hottie" can get a little dizzying at times. Who isn't a hottie by Lat's standards?

Oh awesome. A Monica Lewinsky joke because 1) she's a woman, 2) she's brunette, and 3) she isn't a size 4.
Lat, you must think we all look alike.

Ha! She does look exactly like Monica, and dresses like her too! Excellent word choice David.
The rest of you remind me of what I dislike about lawyers. Humorless. And for the women among you, fat.

NBS, and you must have a teeny dick.

You people are just vicious.

7:27: First, having seen her in person, I can assure you that Morse does look like an older Monica Lewinsky.
Second, considering Ken Starr's involvement, how could Lat not make a Monica joke?

Lat, You are doing a great job. I enjoy the site -- keep up the good work.

I read drab legal material all day. I am not sure I could get though it without the occasional break for Lat's silliness. His tabloid gossipy sensantionalism puts, as J. Kozinski said, a human face on the law.
Keep it up Mr. Lat.

Lat's inclination to describe every woman as a great beauty is wonderful and charming -- reminds me of Don Quixote. Seriously. A great thing for a gossip site to do. Keeps it from getting too vicious.
