Harvard Law School: The World's Premier Center for Law School Parody?

We've previously brought you a number of video clips from various law school parody shows. E.g, Columbia; NYU; UVA.

But what about "the world's premier center for legal education and research"? What can we expect from the parody show of the legendary Harvard Law School?

Someone emailed us this clip:

Our source proudly touted this clip as follows: "Harvard Law School takes it up a notch!!!" We say: It depends on what the meaning of "it" is.

But regardless of our quibbles with the number as a whole, we have nothing but praise for the scene-stealing songstress who appears at around 2:45. If that "JD/MRS degree" doesn't work out for her, she should look into "American Idol."

(If you liked this video clip, you're in luck -- more clips are available here. Knock yourself out!)

Wow did that suck

you picked one of the worst songs. watch the other ones, they are much finnier and better.

Damn, that was awful. I figured with so many funny people at the the undergraduate lampoon, at least a couple of them would continue to the law school but apparently not. The skit made no sense and was not funny.

Wow. That was 3 minutes of my life that I'll never get back.

If grown women will insist on wearing short skirts and cut-off t-shirts and prancing around a stage as wannabe sex objects, they should at least do some crunches, or Pilates, or something. That was painful.

Since it's clearly a slow news day, how about an authoritative list of shame?

wow.

What's most alarming to me is that those people actually spent the time to actually learn that dance. second most alarming thing was the guy wearing the really tight T-Shirt with the enormous pit-sweat stains.

What group was that supposed to be? A journal? Because I would have quit before I did anything like that. Really, that is crazy. There are alot of silly and embarassing things I would do in front of alot of people for the sake of comedy, but that is not one of them

This is not the best pick at all. Watch one of the other videos.

Not only was that clip horrific, but there were sweat pits everywhere.

Truly embarrassing. At least they got Eric from Entourage to make an appearance though...

Hey-ooooo!!

they were good but they took them down from youtube.

Say what you want about the clip, but let's not drag the Lampoon into this. That rag's the biggest joke on campus. And not in a good way. In the way that sucks. See: http://www.harvardlampoon.com/.

That wooshing sound you hear is Stanford passing Harvard in the USNews reputation rankings.

I can confirm what the poster at 3:43 has said. The Lampoon does suck. It was funny in the early 1980s, I think, but then the rampant drug use finally caught up with them.

When I was at HLS, there was a scene in the Parody involving the song "When I Think of You, I Touch Myself" that involved female law students, singing and choreography. It was not appealing.

What happened to the video?

where's the vid at lat?

They pulled the video after Lat linked to it. Lame!

Same thing happened with this Columbia video:

The only thing lamer than Harvard Law School is a bunch of Harvard Law School students engaging in unfunny parody.
