I'm confused. The Chungs have raised TONS of money which should more than cover their legal fees. (And I think it is a disgrace that their attorney even charged them.) Did this goodwill not extend to dry cleaning customers -- did they really lose so much business that they had to close? Was it the stress that got to them? Or is this just an added loss/harm to add to the claims they will surely bring against Pearson when all is said and done?

Hey Lat, how come you don't visit us at UVA? You've visited NYU & Columbia this year, right? And you're only up there in DC, a mere 2 hours away.
After all, Tom Goldstein (of ScotusBlog) graced us with his presence today. Why not you?

Lat - can you post a thread on bonuses. It is fall now and associates would like to know what the bonuses are in order to figure out if it is worth busting our butts to meet the billable targets over the next 3 months. Do I work like a Zombie from Oct-Dec. to get a fat paycheck or do I resign myself to not making the target and enjoy the fall and holidays?
thanks!

Actual news doesn't end up in Non-Sequiturs - that's what Morning Docket is for.
(There's a link to a Mel Weiss story in today's Morning Docket.)
