Comments

I would hardly characterize Stith's comments as a "smack down." She barely manages to disagree.

So our president, with his theory of the unitary executive, interprets his war powers as unlimited and then ignores any statutes affecting that power as "unconstitutional." That's exactly what Rubenfeld said. Dubya interprets the constitution, and we watch, powerless to stop him.

Where are they now: Anthony Ciolli. Tune into VH1 this week to find out.

Professor Moss got schooled in his own comment section. I'm so embarrassed for him.

Katten Muchen raised to 175

Totally unconfirmed but I've heard seperate rumors that at least two top firms will announce (and match) today.

8:51: which top firms?

Can we force into existence, from a rumor, the pay raise that we fervently desire (and scantly deserve). I say Lat should give it the old college try and start lying outright about raises and bonii - maybe some good will come.

According to a NYT article, Debevoise is expected to match this week, while S&C said they would match as well, but not whether there will be a "special" bonus or they'll just raise the regular bonus.

10:26 - Is the NYT article online? If so, link!?

found it:
