good morning david

I understand the privacy breach as a matter of law, that's not my question, but can anyone tell me what would be in such a file that constitutes a big secret? Does it include info on every place you've visited on that passport? Or is it just name, ss#, address, when you applied, etc.? Whether you are on a terror watch list?

This just in, Supreme Court to grant cert and then reverse O'Connor's opinion against the city.

That'll teach her to think she's still a Supreme.

Obama is such a hypocritical asshole. He likes to pretend he cares about the people, but when the people want to vote (and it is likely he'll loose their vote) he does everything he can to disenfranchise them. Now that Michigan can't have a re-vote, I say let's count the ballots as they were made, giving Obama all the uncomitted votes. And don't give me all the Obama-wasn't-on-the-ballot thing. Everyone knew that voting uncommitted was voting for Obama or Edwards, and the Obama campaign encouraged people to vote uncommitted. Clinton supporters had no more reason to get out there and vote than Obama supporters because she was slated to win anyway. Giving Obama all the uncommitted votes would actually give him more than he deserves because a good portion of them were actually for Edwards. Point is--Clinton won Michigan and Michigan votes should count.

9:47-- Did the Michigan revote die b/c Obama killed it? I thought the state decisionmakers killed it. Plus, if the DNC demanded it and agreed to pay for half, it would have happened. That is for sure. I voted for McCain in my state, but I don't think you can paste the Michigan thing on Obama. To me, it's really a pathetic failure of the whole Democratic party. In fact, as a dude for the other side, I can't wait for the general when the Dems start to challenge some electoral outcome b/c we'll be able to point to their total failure on MI and FLA. Every Dem blew this one, pal.

9:47 that is such a "typical white person" comment. It makes me want to say "Goddamn the US of KKKA"

If Obama had just stopped talking he would have wrapped this up. "Typical White Person" is Obamaism for "Muccaca".

First of all, I'm not white. Second, any re-do requires the consent of both candidates and Obama did not give his consent. Instead, he has actively opposed the measure so his supporters in the legislature followed his lead and killed it. It's not my fault that you have not been following the story closely or reading up on the issue before ignorantly posting and making racist assuptions about other informed voters.

9:47 - you may not be white, but you are acting like a "typical white person"

10:26 - again, the substance of your post is more than underwhelming

9:47, maybe if you were a little smarter, you would realize that 10:26's comments are sarcastic and are actually making fun of Obama. More than likely, 10:26 agrees with you.

10:30: > underwhelming = whelming?

9:47,

Obama had a legitimate reason for objecting to the proposed plan. The reality is that many independents like both Obama and McCain. Since the democratic primary didn't count, it is likely that many of those independents voted for McCain. Under the proposed plan, anyone who voted in the republican primary was excluded. Hence, a population of Obama supporters would be disenfranchised.

How can the "typical white person" comment be categorized in any other way than as a racist comment. He lumped together behavior as a racial classification. When whites do that they are called racists. With that statement alone he has proven to me that he will be the black president, not the US president. I hate Hillary, but at least I know who she is going to screw over, and how she is going to do it. Obama is just sneaky.

Disenfranchising a small number of Obama voters (who were apparently not incredibly loyal anyway) is not a reason to disenfranchise most Obama voters and all Clinton voters. Furthermore, Obama could actually benefit from a re-do now that he is more popular than he was back then. Bottom line--Obama has no legitimate complaint and is blocking any re-vote or counting the old vote because he lost and will loose again.

10:43 - I don't understand. Are you trying to blame 10:30 for the fact that the English language does not always make sense?

9:47/10:19/Hillary:

The newspaper I read said that state lawmakers voted down the plan. And it didn't look like the DNC applied any pressure to either side. Don't accuse me of being uninformed, you douchebag troll. Then again, I should not be surprised to see a Clinton supporter acting like a Machiavellian d'bag.

Why is it, that the only time voting problems arise is is when Democrats attempt to vote?

11:39 - You read one newspaper? Congratulations. Now you are completely informed on the topic and are undoubtedly correct.

Hahahahaha. True. Even a cursory reading of the linked article reveals Obama's involvement.

SOC's most telling question in the city council prayer case:

Does the City call "heads" or "tails"?
